My name is Felipe Cuartas, a Visual Artist from Bogotá, Colombia, currently based in Weimar, Germany. Over the last 6 years, I have been immersed in the world of cinematography, working on various audiovisual projects, including documentaries, music videos, short films, and feature films.
My strength as a Director of Photography lies in actively participating in the creation of a visual language that meets the narrative and expressive needs of the story. Thanks to my interdisciplinary education in areas such as graphic design, art history, and literature, I have the ability to establish connections between different fields and develop original and powerful visual concepts.
Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Media Art at the Bauhaus University. Through this experience, I continue to explore new forms of storytelling and collaborate with local and international artists from various disciplines.
